2008-01-30 10:22 AM Plans Interrupted Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) First there were no plans other than the usual. Husband off to work, me working at home; same old, same old. Then I got slammed by a pile of stuff (physical, emotional, financial, weather...all at once--yea, I got REALLY sick last night; at least hub went and bought me my comfort food--not HEALTHY food, but I seriously didn't care), so me working was in question.
Then husband wasn't going to work but was going to get paid. New plan: I get to sleep in and sleep off the garbage (which I did) and husband was going to go get some groceries taken care of and I'd pay bills. Then, this morning, we decided to do the shopping together, have lunch out--actually spend time together sans children--a rare thing indeed. Bills would get paid when we got back. Until the phone rang. Now, husband is back at work. Shopping and lunch are canceled. I guess I'm up to working so I'll get some editing done today. Yes, my husband needs to work because we need to get the financial things cleaned up, but I really was looking forward to going out and spending time with him. No exercise today--my schedule got disrupted and the running around I was looking forward to having isn't happening. At least I still have the half a dozen times or so going up and down all the stupid stairs just to get to the bathroom. :P Lunch today will be ordered. I was sick last night so nothing got made. We were going to go out and have Schlotsky's sandwiches today so nothing got made this morning. :P I'm thinking of trying a new Chinese place. And I'll probably order early because I haven't managed to have breakfast yet either, and it's getting just a little late to have it plus lunch in an hour and a half. Maybe their crab rangoons will be better than the place we usually order from (which changed their rangoons and now they're too sweet). This menu looks fuller than the usual place too. Decisions, decisions.... Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
