Howard Dean ends quest for the Presidency.

CC: Good afternoon. Howard Dean announced today that he is ending his campaign for the Democratic Presidential nomination after loosing 17 state contests out of a possible 17.
Dean vows to work for change in the country and the Democratic party.
Howard Dean has not endorsed another candidate nor is it likely he will anytime soon. And now here's Pogo with some Silly Thinking Commentary.
Pogo: Doctor Dean was confronted with insurmountable opportunities.
He was the front runner early in the contest and he raised a record 41 million dollars in a unique internet fund raising drive. And Dean encouraged everyday people to become involved in his campaign and at least spoke against big money buying elections.
In the end, the Dean camp blamed the media and the DLC for their troubles. But there was probably something else at work. Beyond the DLC's dirty tricks and the cowardly media's compunction to punish anybody who speaks outside their frame (a frame handed to them by the most powerful interests in the country) there was somthing else working against this brave fighter from Vermont.
Dean, you met the enemy, and it was you.
