Her: If I don't hear back from the doctor by 4:00, I'm going to have to start up the ark. Me: Which ark do you mean? Her: You know. The one with all the animals. (pause for laughter) Eureka! It all makes sense now. The rain means the flood is coming - that's why it's an emergency. Still not sure how it's her fault, but at least now I understand. She didn't mean it in a threatening way either. She said it like at that point there was just nothing else left to do. So, if you live in the area, keep a lookout for a lady driving an ark. Which brings me to an Actual Conversation (TM) we had last night in which we agreed that clearly ark technology has come a long way if they now require starting, begging the question, "how does one start an ark?"
