If over 55% of voters turn out for the Iraqi election, even with the threats, bloodshed and death, what does that say about US voters who can barely turn out for the elections?

We're in one of the most technologically advanced media societies in the world, with far better access to facts and information than the majority of people on the planet, so why do we have so many uninformed voters?

I know the answers. I just wish it wasn't true.
