I don't know how much of an update I can manage in my present state. I took the day off work today, and I slept great last night, but I managed to catch a sinus infection on the plane ride home (which was a bit horrid) and my head feels muddled.
Anyway, just a few highlights. It was a really good Bouchercon. I met a lot of new people and reconnected with a lot of people I hand't seen in a while. The panels were good this year, but I only attened three or four of them, so I am relying on word of mouth, which was positive. Madison is a lovely town. The weather was grand for the most part. The walk from Inn on the Park to the Madison Concourse wasn't too far. And our hotel was great. I know some people hated it, but I thought the room was comfortable and I liked that they had a pool (which I didn't use), and exercise room (which I used once) and a rec room with a Pole Position machine. The only negative was oour rather loud neighbors who woke up early to chat every morning. Right now, I am checking Email, blogging (obviously) and fighting the urge to take a nap because I want too write while the inspiration is still coursing through my veins. If I try to mention people now, I will leave someone out, and might do that anyway in a future installment. But I will do what I can. Good to be home. Writer's Group tonight.
