I certainly didn't realize just how "Western" Joss Whedon's new series, Firefly, was going to be, but I enjoyed it very much nonetheless!

It looks like we've got some good characters who are dirty enough to be interesting and clean enough to be likeable..which is the best of both worlds. I have to say though, my favorite part of the whole episode was the "Take this money back to your boss" scene. If you've seen it, you know what I mean, and if you haven't I don't want to spoil it for you. When the scene started began, I kind of sighed with the, "Ok, here we go with the standard 'I'm gonna hunt you down where ever you go' speech", and then *blink* *blink*... totally unexpected, and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.
