The Gods are Displeased

Something new that I didn't see last year (because it only started 6 weeks ago!) is a new archeological excavation beside the Temple of Kukulcan at Chichen Itza. The weather didn't cooperate with us and the sun was missing for the equinox event. However, my newly acquired tripod allowed us to snap a nice a little pic of us.

A light and sound show is available at Chichen Itza. The place is COMPLETELY pitch black except for the illuminated structures. This photo took a 10 SECOND LONG exposure to collect enough light.
