I had a very pleasant weekend, involving yummy food, movie-watching, and a lot of reading. I was enjoying my weekend SO much that I knew that Monday would be a difficult day.

Actually, Monday wasn't so bad until one student swatted me on the butt. He was in a wheelchair, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just trying to playfully jab me in the arm, or some such. Not that playfully jabbing me in the arm is a habit I want to encourage in my students. Then a student in lab pushed me out of the way to get to his seat, once again in a harmless joking fashion. I guess my students feel very comfortable with me.

Then another lab student was tapping me in the back to get my attention as I was helping another lab group. Alright, if that happens once, then the student has just forgotten that he shouldn't really do that. But he kept tapping me in the back. I ignored him and got around to answering his questions at my leisure. Then he really put me over the top by asking, "Will you just tell me the answer to the last question so I can leave?" He got yelled at, I assure you.
