ok, it's not the family stoned, but the family stone.

anyone see this movie??? i didn't see it last year when it came out, altho i wanted to, but i have seen it on hbo or some such movie channel this year.

a trio of great lines from the movie, courtesy of luke wilson and diane keaton:

"you've got a freak flag. you just don't fly it"

"it's exhausting trying to keep the lid screwed on that tight"

and

"did you and daddy have fun getting stoned"

i can relate to all three, except i never got stoned with my dad. altho my brother says...well, he thinks dad did, just not with us.

and i thought parents were supposed to share everything with their kids!!!

reenie mentioned "little miss sunshine" which i still haven't seen, but really want to. my daughter balks everytime i say the words. it makes her think of annie...'the sun'll come out...tomorrow...' and then we all want to go throw up.

the family stone is one i'd highly recommend if you haven't seen it. i'm not much on buying dvd's, but this is one i might have to purchase.
