Foo. Though I am happily back on track with the diet, last night at the store I overlooked the amount of fat-free ice-cream I had in the house. *sigh* I'm not even really counting points anymore - I can basically guess how much something is.

Started swimming last night as well, which was great. I really enjoy it. Some type of relief knowing I'm doing everything I can to help my diet along -- no longer dragging my feet to the sound of my concern. I've started working with an anchoring technique that is suppose to help root you in the present. I found last week I was not only using it to avoid food, but to avoid anxiety over dieting. One of the fears is the loss of self - that I will lose some part of my identity if I lose a significant amoutn of weight. I will literally lose gravity.

Speaking of anxiety, the atypical broken zip-drive during portfolio refinement hit monday. Figures. $200 later I have a new zip drive, half of my work printed at kinko's, and an urge to replace my entire computer system and throw in a scanner to boot. I do, however, have some of the portfolio up now - though it needs much refining. I've completed 19 out of 20 pieces I need to pass the portfolio class, and I just got the documents for the final piece today. All I have to do now is print the rest, cut, mount, cry, weep, gnash teeth, and I'm through.

In the meantime, I've picked up another job as webmaster here, mainly I think because I can spell episcopalian. So far all I've been able to do is set up my email - but it is an intriquing project that always needs upkeep. Should be fun, once the portfolio is finished.
