5 Questions of Doom

Gwenda Bond graciously passed onto me the game of 5 questions. Read the rules at the bottom afterwards to play along.
Rob's 5 questions:
1. When you think about the place you grew up, what are the first things that come to mind? We lived on a dead end street and behind our house there was a field that had a drained pond in it. The pond was drained for future development but no one ever purchased it. The field became the neighborhood haunt for the kids and we took full advantage of it. We hunted snakes, fought BB gun wars and brought chiggers home nightly. I miss the field of my youth.
2. If you could have any superpower, what would you pick and why? A sonic yell like the Black Canary or Banshee. I would become the frontman for an ‘80’s metal band. Are you ready to RAWK!?! My voice would melt the audience’s big hair off.
3. What was the first movie that had a significant impact on you and how old were you (approximate age is fine) when you saw it? I could go with the Benji movies or Star Wars or Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom or E.T. but the one that impacted me the most in my youth was Cannonball Run. It was the first movie I saw without adult supervision. I was 13 and some of the older kids at Hi-Li Swimclub took me with them. The movie was a mess but I saw it as a step into adulthood.
4. If you could take a month long vacation anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go? Colorado Springs, Colorado. I would stay at the Olympic Training Center and train in Judo and Synchronized Swimming.
5. What's your favorite place in Louisville? At the moment my favorite place in Louisville is the Great Lawn and walk path down by the Ohio River. The best thing Louisville has spent money on. Free concerts in the summertime. Love it.
