Where did we get this much crap? Its been an exciting weekend, full of more packing tape than I care to mention. Guru is in some kind of box-stupor and we are both kind of rattling around the house picking up items and putting them back down. Probably time for dinner.

The Movers, just like everything else in the city of Pgh, have been delayed by weather. (read:Ivan) We have a day-reprieve and will probably see the truck Tuesday AM. This was actually very much needed. We should be able to wrap up pretty soundly by then, though, when push comes to shove, I still couldn't tell you what we need all this stuff for.

We had a good weekend with guru's folks even though we were packing dawn to dusk. Boy are they good at packing. We couldn't have done it without their help. We also got out for a nice dinner Sat night. We started heading for Penn Brewery, only to beat a quick retreat when we found an Om-pah band had taken up residence. (Octoberfest has started) We ended up going to Church Brewworks. So I can leave the state now, I had my last bowl of malted ice-cream. mmmm....

I still haven't heard from my family in pns since Friday. I assume their cell battery finally died. I try not to worry about it since there is nothing i can do, and last time I talked to them they were fine. Let's hope they have gotten more supplies and or headed for some other state. Good to hear the roads are open again though. The Pensacola News Journal has been doing a phenominal amount of work to keep the area informed. It's very unfortunately that most people down there don't have web connectivity. Blah.

One good thing that happened this weekend was that I got to dump out my dyes on the front lawn. These are egg dyes for pysanky. It was great because it was raining, I was soaked and I was throwing this color out on jar at a time. It was such a releive to be messy and active in the elements. If only everything could involve a little "throwing color around your environment."

*sigh*
