Blame it on CC and Herby.

Here it is after 10 in the morning and I haven't done a thing on today's to-do list! I was sitting on the couch drinking my coffee, channel surfing, and CC decided to be a cuddly cat.

This is unusual for her--she's come a long way in the last year from being skittish and somewhat aloof, but this is the first time she has stretched out full length against me and defied me to move. One does not go against the wishes of a cat. And then I ran across that old movie while channel surfing. I never saw it when it was new, and I got caught up in it.

I gave up and watched the movie, reading something casual until the movie ended. I apologized to CC and abandoned the couch to her. I realize it's not the same without a human body, but she will have to make do. Maybe she'll find and kill another roach. (One of the to-do items is vacumming up the corpses.)

So now it's almost 1030 and I haven't done a thing except make my cat happy. So far, the day is successful.
