BadCat mewed to come in early this morning. She brought a trophy--a half-grown cardinal. Dead, thank goodness. I've had experience in the past with cats who brought in live birds.

That's a step up in the hunting chain for her. Until today, her trophies have just been lizards. At least if a rodent gets in the house I know now that I have a cat that won't treat it as a toy!

She's looking very proud of herself and getting ready to take a nap.
