And, as a result, I did very little today. I was borderline on sweaty and just could not talk myself into going outside and pulling weeds (some of which are pretty tall) and having the sweat pour down me. I did some household stuff--like the mid-month bookkeeping which is a whole lot easier since I now have all the utility-type bills on auto-deduct from my checking account. They get paid and all I have to do is remember to deduct them from my account balance.

I skipped Arby's today and had lunch at PJ's and got quite a bit of reading done. I ordered two more books early this morning and need to get the ones I'm currently reading finished. Then I headed for the pool.

I had a nice swim--5/8 mile and my time is getting better. After getting dressed I decided to sit on a couch in the ladies' room a few minutes before heading back home. Another woman also stopped to sit and we chatted for a bit. I hope I run into her again.

The weather forecast is somewhat encouraging--some thunderstorms tomorrow, but then a bit cooler again. I'll eventually get those weeds either pulled or knocked down.
