2007-01-05 9:56 PM What To Do with a Free Day Read/Post Comments (1) |
Ideally, one would do all those little (and big) things that seem to get transferred automatically to the latest to-do list.
On the other hand, one can treat an unexpectedly "free" day as a bonus and do almost nothing constructive. I finished reading When Gods Die, by C. S. Harris. I'm starting to get acquainted with her characters and losing track of who is who has almost disappeared. Unfortunately, this second book of hers is also her most recent, so it will be a while before I can time-travel back to Regency England. (Her first book is What Angels Fear.) Because it was a "slug day" I also took a nice nap. I suppose I could have done some cleaning/tidying/weed-pulling, but I have other unread books around. So, I started reading Dirty Deeds, by Mark Terry. It moved along really nicely and I just finished that one. His protagonist is a very computer-savvy young woman. I haven't settled on which of the many unread mind candy books I'll read next. And now the weekend is coming up and I have several things on my list that really needed to be addressed--such as my "holiday" cards. I started a week or so ago, but just have not gotten around to finishing. Tomorrow would be a good day to do that. (Stay tuned to see if my grand plan gets side-tracked. I have a black belt in procrastination.) Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
