I've put in my three days and now I have a four day weekend ahead. I'd love to use it with the weeds, but rain is forecast at some point in the weekend. And that will probably turn out to be an excellent procrastination justification.

However, I've gotten into some new "geek" reading which may keep me from yielding to the temptation to weed. It's because I took a different route back to my carrel from the front of the library. I zigzagged through the stacks, glancing at the titles as I went by. And I spotted a journal that looked extremely interesting. I ended up copying two articles from it, and I plan on searching for a book that was reviewed to see if I can get it cheaply.

Other than that, not much new or unusual. The weather is cooling down and my furnace is on for the first time in about ten days. I wonder how many cats will share body heat with me tonight.
