Today was a No Big Deal Saturday, aka an IUD.

I got some picking up done around the house in the morning, drowned about two weeks' worth of newspapers and a trash can full of weeds, then spent most of the afternoon at PJ's reading a geek book.

When I got to the pool, there were three big (about 6" across) turtles sunning themselves on the steps. Judging by the sound of the plop there had also been a frog.

I should put some blooming aquatic plants in there too.

I may stay up to watch the intro to Saturday Night Live tonight--it will be their first new show since the writers' strike. Their political satire is usually quite good.

Monday will also be an at-home day for me--the vent work at the Women's Center has created an unexpected holiday. And at the rate the weather is warming up again, I may try to focus on yard work then.

So far, this Saturday not only a NBD day, but also an IUD.

Oh yeah--there was a nap in there somewhere.
