Awake again, and now the winds are here. So far, the rain seems fairly light. And the weather radar shows Slidell well into the bands.
Obviously, I still have electricity.
A large branch or small tree just bit the dust--from the sounds it's in a neighbor's yard.
And I lost power briefly, which messed up the internet. I can stilll hear the TV so I figure I still have internet--somewhere. (Obviously, I found it.)
Weather radar shows us in the middle of the bands. And Gus is still heading inland west of New Orleans.
I just nuked some breakfast--better eat it before it cools.
