I was going to do yard work today, but by the time I was ready to it had begun to rain.

I was giving thoughtful consideration to running the vacuum around, but I got sidetracked by bill-paying.

And then there was an afternoon "sinking spell"--or what else should you do when it's raining.

Bottom line--didn't get much accomplished today except for the resting.

And some reading.

I'm still having trouble with what day of the week it is. I couldn't figure out why the usual morning programming was on, when it was Saturday. The fact that today is Friday helps explain that.

In fact, the only time I left the house was to walk the 150 feet to the mailbox and back.

Tomorrow's weather forecast isn't too great either, but "scattered thundershowers" usually occur in the afternoon, so if I get myself moving early I should be able to get the weekly shopping done before any rain.

I do hope I don't end up at a balky register like I did the last time.
