My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

She loves me when it's cold.

Lady has definitely appointed me as her bed of choice during this current cold spell. CC hasn't joined her, at least that I'm aware of. When I'm not in bed. Lady wants to be close so she doesn't miss any time when I am.

I made groceries this morning, then spent most of the afternoon at PJ's. I will sure be sorry to see them disappear. The new location is going to be the other side of the interstate and definitely not in an area that I normally frequent.

It's not the coffee so much as the camaderie among the "regulars." That is what I will really miss.

Got to WalMart early this morning and (as usual) beat the crowds. I brought the perishables inside, but there's still stuff in the car. Each time I go somewhere I bring more in when I get home.

Let's see--next week won't really begin till Wednesday. MLK is Monday, and the inauguration on Tuesday.

If it warms up a bit I'll get some more yard work done. My next door neighbors are off somewhere, and I'd sort of like to have a visible clean-up/weeding/etc. done to the yard on that side by the time they get back.

Yep--definitely another IUD.
