The topic at church today was environment and the visiting (quarter time) minister led off with a marvelous reading of The Lorax to the children, before they left for their Sunday School.

The Lorax must have been written after my kids had essentially outgrown Dr. Seuss, although one can never really outgrow Seuss! It was new to me and thoroughly enjoyable.

I headed on home, decided I didn't need to stop for gas after all, had a bite to eat, finished reading the paper, and then settled down for a "sinking spell." I had planned to do some yard work this afternoon, but obviously my body had other ideas. Well, I don't plan to go to work till Tuesday so tomorrow should be just fine for the yard.

Only my girls appeared when I got home--I don't know where their friends were. Probably hiding under the house.

I had tentatively planned to go to that new coffee shop to read (another parade would block off most of the major roads) but the nap took care of that.

So--at least until now, it's definitely an IUD.
