2009-03-04 5:48 PM Definitely a Better Day Read/Post Comments (2) |
For starters, CC decided that we both needed cuddling last night, and curled up by my chest. She was right.
For some unknown reason my computer is behaving itself (knock wood), at least so far. I had lunch with YD, which is always a pleasure. Fortunately, my desire for sushi was matched by hers. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, so I have sushi in the fridge waiting to be consumed at another meal. YD passed along a couple of books, and then there were a couple more in the mail. The "mail" books were one of each--mind candy and geek. On the way home I stopped at WalMart for some more of the fake Fancy Feast for CC. She definitely likes that stuff. I also got another bag of dry cat food for the possums and visiting tomcats. I've seen a raccoon on the porch a couple of times, but for the most part they nosh on dog biscuits on the patio. The mail had a package with some trees in it. They were a "free gift" with a donation to the Arbor Day society. I shall probably stay home tomorrow and plant at least one of them. They aren't exactly big, but who knows--if even one takes hold and grows it will be nice. I haven't had any comments from my neighbor about my daffodils, but then the opportunity to gab hasn't arisen. Definitely a pretty good day.
