CC has evidently been taking hunting lessons from Stripe--she bounced into the house and dropped a dead mouse by me.

Unlike Lady, who had been on her own outside before they caught her at the shelter, CC made no attempt to eat her prize. (CC was a "leftover" kitten who had been in the Cat Cottage for almost a year.)

I am somewhat underwhelmed by the thought of more prizes being brought home.

As long as it's not a live bird. Or dead one for that matter. Do you know how many feathers have to be knocked off before it is edible to a cat?

Needless to say, I praised her profusely.
