Stripe has begun meowing for his dinner. This tends to give CC an incentive to eat hers without playing games.

Tired a bit from work--I kept at it pretty steadily.

There was hardly anyone around. The librarian was there, but when I went upstairs for hot water for coffee I saw only one person. Definitely a quiet day.

Yard work is at the top of the "list" for the weekend--or at least for tomorrow. Tidying inside should be on the list also.

I think I'll keep on reading the J. D. Robb book I started last week.

Two book club "offers" came in the mail. I'm tempted, but both of them have hardback books, and paperbacks are easier to handle and stash.

Instead, I'm going to check out prices on some of the books at Amazon and maybe buy a couple. Vacation time is coming up and I'll need to take along several for the trip.
