Yes!! the heat has broken!

The morning was overcast, and it sprinkled off and on.

When I headed out for the post office/supper it was just beginning to look wet again.

And when I left Wendy's (I felt like having chicken nuggets and one of their cappucchino milkshakes) it was extremely threatening.

I'd have made it all the way home before it actually started raining, except there was a very nervous driver ahead of me who came to an almost full stop before each speed bump--which is designed to keep people from going faster than about 30 mph.

So, my car is parked rather cattywampus, but close to the patio cover.

I slept well last night, but I expect I will sleep even better tonight.
