I let myself sleep a bit later than usual this morning. Plus--it rained. Not only was the sound soothing, it worked wonders on the ambient temperature. And it was a fantastic excuse for not doing yard work.

Somewhat after noon I headed out on some errands. I called my dr.'s office to be sure they had faxed over the prescription renewal. They had.

My first stop was the bank for a variety of reasons. One of them was to buy travellers' checks and order some euros. Next week I'll call the credit card companies to tell them where I'll be. I don't expect to use the credit cards--or the euros.

I made my next stop lunch--at the new place. I figure it will take me about a month to check out each of the sandwiches on the menu. And I haven't even started with the yogurt concoctions.

The parking area was nicely filled--that's good. It's nice to see a business catching on.

I was thinking about yard work again this afternoon, but it threatened rain again.

Needless to say, tonight should be fairly good sleeping--especially since the weather radar suggests more rain.

Still reading the Saylor book.
