2009-08-08 5:11 PM What Day is It? Read/Post Comments (2) |
Without a regular routine it's sometimes hard to remember what day it is.
And traveling 7 times zones away and back doesn't help. But I finally figured out that the reason the usual morning show wasn't on was because it is Saturday! Once I got myself temporally oriented I got on with Saturday business and did the more-or-less weekly shopping. At the top of the list were reflectors on stakes. I finally found them, almost completely hidden, and bought four. These have a metal stake--I think the previous ones had plastic. Then I added the usual stuff to my basket and in no time flat it was home again, home again, jiggety jog. I read the morning paper and then yielded to Morpheus and had a significant sinking spell. The rain during this cooled things down nicely. So far I haven't seen the albino raccoons, but then I haven't really looked. I'll wager they're just waiting for some dog biscuits to hit the grass. The day's not over yet, but I'm willing to lay odds that the rest of it will reflect the blog title too. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
