2009-08-10 7:14 PM Really Exciting Day Read/Post Comments (6) |
If you believe that, I have a franchise for sale providing ice for Eskimos.
I am almost at the point of feeling caught up on sleep. Almost--not completely. The most exciting activity today was giving the turtles more reading material. The second most exciting thing was persuading the albino raccoon (I think I'll call her Alice or Allie) to get herself and her kids off my front porch. How did I do that? I tossed a fair quantity of cat kibble onto the gravel driveway. That kept them busy. I had supper at Arby's (I needed to go out anyway) and this time I ate in. On the way home I stopped at Walgreen's for some stuff. I had hoped to find spray paint in a fluorescent color, but they didn't have any. What they DID have was lots of parents and kids waiting semi-patiently back by their little "Take Care(?)" clinic (staffed by Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants) to get school/athletics physicals. Goal for tomorrow: finish unpacking. Read/Post Comments (6) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
