I got the new spool of weed-whacking line installed, and whacked away for almost an hour. And there is a majorly marked improvement in the appearance of the area I whacked. Darn--that means it's worth keeping going on the project.

My battery-powered hedge trimmer is getting charged up for more outdoor work.

Gotta love those Black and Decker battery-powered tools.

Needless to say, when I'd finished whacking I headed for the shower and am now squeaky clean--both body and hair.

The only trouble with that is that tomorrow I will be disinclined to get totally sweaty again. But the yard is looking so much better where I've been working that I shall probably do more tomorrow anyway.

I wonder how long I'll last "watching" TV tonight. The eyelids are already heavy.
