is a VERY hard worker.

He was by again today and put in a solid three hours. Tomorrow I have to burn one of the trash piles. I'll give the other one a day or two more to dry out somewhat.

YK spent about an hour at the house YD and I own on the next block, getting the yard there tidied. House is for sale and every little bit helps. He brought the stuff back here, which is part of the reason the burn pile is growing so quickly.

It's interesting as we decide what needs to go and what should stay, plantwise. I'm ending up with more potential trees, but strategically placed so that a vehicle (such as a tree truck) can get where it might be needed.

YK is bringing his lawnmower over next time. Enough has been cut back that there are large areas of green leafy stuff that passes for grass.

I went out to WalMart early this afternoon to restock critter and human food. The traffic was terrible.

This evening I'll watch the Saints game. This is the game whose tickets I gave to a total stranger I came across in WalMart. She was wearing a Saints shirt and we got to chatting a bit. She's taking her father-in-law who is VERY excited about the whole thing.

The first regular season home game is ten days from now, against the Lions.

The TV pre-game show featured some of the tailgaters who set up under the Interstate. One group brings its own portolets--painted black and gold, of course.

I put out the dog biscuits before I came back to the computer. I'll bet they're gone by now.

And it's time to get back to the game.
