Intruder repulsed by cat!!
The guard cat was resting comfortably in the den, when he spotted an intruder on the kitchen counter.
He immediately gave chase and the intruder turned around and fled.
Only damage was some scattered dry cat food and water from a drinking cup that got spilled.
No description of the intruder, but a long-tailed marsupial is high on the suspect list, due to previous incursions by said marsupial and/or his/her kinfolk.
