Except--I was giving serious thought to getting the burn piles in a more burnable configuration, but I couldn't locate the rakes.
I finally remembered that YK had asked if he could borrow them for work on his yard. Mystery solved. But I was still giving thought to a bit of raking, so I headed for WalMart to get a couple more rakes. (One can never have too many rakes.) One is plastic and has a really wide spread. Great for raking, but not for burn tending. The other one is metal. Prices were great--it's the end of the "season." I have added raking and burning to my think-about-doing (henceforth TAD) list for tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will rain. From WalMart I headed a little further down the road and had something to eat and coffee to drink at a PJ's. I had brought a book along, so I had a relaxing afternoon. Tomorrow I'll give more serious thought to the raking and burning. Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
