How about those Saints!!

Although I did have some bad moments near the end of the game, nevertheless they won their 13th straight game and insured a bye for the first round of the playoffs.

Well, since I already paid for the post-game packet, that means the price of that bye game goes against my next year's season tickets.

Everyone (seemingly) is excited. I had a wrong number a while ago and we talked Saints-fan talk for a minute.

On top of that, my internet is working again. At one point last night it was at one tenth speed. At that point, I gave up and went back to mindless TV.

Weatherwise, the day is gloomy and gray. I took my newspaper collections back to the pool and dumped them. I didn't see any turtles, but they probably have ways of coping with cold.

Cat is behaving herself a teensy bit better than last night. She's on the table, but is sitting quietly instead of trying to type.

All day it has looked and felt like rain was imminent, but no precipitation. Thank goodness. Yesterday's little drizzle needs time to run off and soak into the almost saturated ground.

Unless it looks too much like rain, I plan on going in to work tomorrow. Little by little I'm getting the various boxes of correspondence into chronological order. There seems to be nothing that the subject wrote, but one can piece together the incoming letters to "build" a life.

My cat is staring at me, as though to say "will you finish that and feed me?"
