My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

And there will be more rain this evening, and quite likely into tomorrow. The weather radar does not look too promising--unless you are a fish or a duck.

Big news (and concern) around here is the oil drilling platform in the Gulf that blew up yesterday. Lots of oil all over the surface of the Gulf, but worst of all is the failure to find any of the crew that were on the platform.

Unless you have flown over the northern Gulf you don't realize just how many drilling platforms there are. Take my word for it--it's a lot.

Today was unexciting--did some bookkeeping stuff, a bit of tidying, and read. By the time I was ready to do some outside stuff it had started raining.

How's that for timing!!

(I do need to get more done tomorrow though.)
