The day started early, but not as early as it was supposed to, since my alarm didn't go off. I had an 8:30 AM appointment at the Imaging Center for a routine bone density scan and mammogram. Nobody seemed concerned that I was late, and I was done in less than an hour.
Since I hadn't made time for breakfast I headed to Mickey for one. And then it was a relatively dull day--until my lovely neighbor came over and finished the grass stuff she'd started the day before. (They had really enjoyed the Saints tickets.) We talked about the pros and cons of bamboo--I have quite a bit in the back. along the fence, and told her she was welcome to whatever she wanted of that About mid-afternoon I decided to get some stuff at WalMart. As I set out I looked at the sky and hoped it wouldn't rain till I was done. Silly me--I was about halfway there where the skies opened up and the torrential rain started. When I got to the parking lot I turned around and headed back home. So much for whatever I had planned to get. Tomorrow I have an appointment here in town with my financial manager. She's got quite a few Slidell and other Northshore clients, and comes over fairly regularly for our convenience. Until recently their offices were in Metairie (the other side of New Orleans). Now they are located in the CBD (Central Business District) which, as far as I'm concerned, makes it difficult to visit. (Of course I've never been to the old office, but one never knows.) So, tomorrow will have another "something different" to break the routine. (And it's still sprinkling a bit outside.) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
