Another quiet day at home. I think there was a phone call, but not a chatty/conversation type.
And I had essentially zero expectations of a call from the mechanic. I want him to be working on cars--especially mine--not answering stupid questions like "is it ready yet?" Most of the time I can be reasonably relaxed about car down-time. But I'll lay odds that if the day ever comes when I need it fixed yesterday that it will go to the head of the line. So what does one do on a "nothing" day? First of all, the weather was really nice. I found the den comfortable as long as the fan was on and, unlike a day or so ago, I was not soaking t-shirts with my sweating. However, I hope the car gets done soon. I've got enough critter food for several days more, and there's always something around that I can eat. Or I can order a pizza or something. However, (I repeat), I hope the car gets done soon. And I just noticed that it's beginning to get dark, and that means quarter/way decent TV is probably available. Read/Post Comments (8) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
