Right--car still not back home.

I'm hoping it's something like a high-level rush job for someone whose car is essential to work, rather than a glitch in the repairs on mine.

Or a sick employee, or a part that had to be special-ordered.

At least I've got plenty of canned cat food, and I can probably "borrow" from my neighbor stuff for the critters.

And if I ask her, I'm pretty sure she'd stop at WalMart on her way home from work and pick up more food for the neighborhood critters.

Today was basically a day of this and that, with a very satisfactory afternoon "sinking spell".

I am definitely hoping my car is healthy soon.

The mechanic knows that he can put my car aside if a real "emergency" job comes in.

Oh well--the cats are lapping up the extra attention.
