a very long week

Working on: Wondering if it's Friday yet?!

Just a regular week in the life of a teacher!
Monday: private conference with principal to discuss "some girls" who "reported" me to the counselor, claiming I discipline the class by telling them to shut up, never grading their papers, and when someone asked me where their assignments were I told them I didn't grade them because I have a baby at home. These girls were informed to talk to me about it. They have not appeared. No coincidence, according to principal, they complained the day progress reports come out.
Tuesday: 2nd hour pushes me over my limit. I spend my planning hour (the WHOLE hour) calling 2 parents and emailing 3 others discussing their boys' behavior, and removing them from my class for the day Wednesday. Stay up until 12:30a.m. doing schoolwork.
Wednesday: So tired from previous night (and preceding nights of 11:30pm bedtimes) I develop a migraine 4th hour. Lose three separate items; office is able to recover the stack of copies I misplaced. Two other items still missing.
6th hour, have a visit from one of my 8th graders to inform me he has been suspended for 5 days for purchasing cigarettes from a 7th grader on school property. He will return next week Thursday.
It's only Thursday morning.... and I have a training session from 3:30-5:30 after school. Whew!
