So it's a new year....7 days till a new age, 8 days till a new semester and 21 days till a new rockstar chasing, hanging out with my best girls adventure. That's a hell of a lot to take in during the first month of a brand new year.

All that really means though is that I have 8 days to get my house cleaned and in order before my life becomes chaos again. Where has the break gone? Only 8 more days for late night phone calls, because getting up for 8am classes is not pleasant on 4 hours of sleep.

But I am looking forward to classes being less stressful this semester than they were last. No sculpture (yay!) and no art history papers (yay!)...lots of photography, lots of photoshop, lots of italian, and oddly lots of jazz music (?). Sounds like perfection - I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Of course all I can think about is this tour. How do you prepare for something that you know is going to simultaneously be fucking amazing and yet horribly sad when it's over? I just have to keep my mind off the leaving and try to focus on the going. But this time things will be different. More, more, lots more pictures of the girls. This time I will realize how truly precious this time together is - and try to make the absolute most of it.

In other news, my cameras are collecting dust. That sucks.
