Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Okay, yesterday's mood was a misnomer. It's not as if they all wanted me to respond.

Maybe a certain student did, but I really had no care or knowledge in what he wanted.

@@ We had an engineering faculty meeting today, and slacker co-teacher was all over the place.

He was talking about his personal experiences on slackers performing well in board exams, sometimes better than the really studious ones. I just don't know if he was talking about himself, and not just supposed "guys I know".

He also had too many concerns when it came to the new curriculum, that since I didn't care about, my lack of sleep (having woken up at 430am) was starting to catch up with me.

So it's a little satisfactory for me that when he did call my attention (wanting me to confirm something he said) I obviously looked like I just woke up.

I also didn't like one of the excuses he made as to why he doesn't want to pursue any further a matter that is obviously based on lies. He said he just knows it will irritate him.

Yeah, he has all these reasons to account for his different inactions, instead of showing results.

This is because the meeting was already winding down and he just brought out one of the pet peeves that he knows everyone has, about the marketing office being overpaid, over-hyping their results but actually and underperforming.

@@ Another irritation for me recently was the teacher who was put in charge of this school year's outstanding teacher award. He's too much a stickler for technicalities.

This is so much so that he comes to me regularly to voice this or that concern that could just be hand waved, except he wants to follow the first rules written down, that weren't even followed when I was in charge. Maybe he will even go so far as to question our results since I admitted as much to him.

@@ Slacker co-teacher also voiced out some concerns about the new dean, even though it's someone internal as they were complaining. So I guess now it comes out they really want someone who they could get to act on their concerns.

Session 2619 is close to being slapped. Class dismissed.
